Class A Shares,A类股/A股,普通股,也就是上市公司发行的绝大多数股票。

Class A shares:common stocks, as are the vast majority of shares issued by a public company. Common shares are an ownership interest in a company and entitle purchasers to a portion of the profits earned.

Class B Shares:Class B shares are lower in payment priority than Class A shares. That means if a company were to go bankrupt and be forced into liquidation, Class A shareholders would be paid out first, then Class B.

he Agricultural Bank’s IPO had a dual listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (also known as A shares) and Hong Kong Stock Exchange (also known as Class H shares).

Following the increase, the Company’s authorised share capital of HK$502,000 was redesignated and reclassified into 5,000,000 class A shares of HK$0.1 each of 2,000,000 Class B shares of HK$0.001 each, having the rights and privileges and subject to the restrictions set out in the Articles of Association of the Company.
