expire，大家都知道，其含义是期满，在英文合同中，经常出现，前面我们讲述了其与due的区别，从法律层面讲，expire附带某种法律效力，较为正式，而due没有这样的效果。

中译英时，大家习惯将The period of time expires中的expire处理为is expired，这点要特别注意。
