due在合同翻译过程中很常见，通常有以下三种情况出现：(1)译为"到期应付的"，如due date(到期日，还可以用maturity date表达，通常出现在借款合同中)，payment due(到期应付款项)，这里强调一个词，overdue（逾期未付的），可以对应理解；(2)due to（由于），比because of表达更为正式，常用在合同中；(3)due diligence尽职调查。
