survive，基本含义是“生存”，在翻译文件的过程中，匠匠总结了其在法律文件中的以下2种含义，并且都有对应的例句在后面供大家参考。其在法律英语中最常使用的两层意思为：

（1）A比B活得长，法律文件中译为“B先于A死亡”；

（2）仍然有效，比如：本合同终止之后，合同某条款仍然有效。
