The development and reform commissions, price bureaus, financial departments (bureaus), agricultural departments (bureaus, commissions, offices), grain administrations, sub-branches of agricultural development bank of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the State Council of the People’s Republic of China,

    各省、自治区、直辖市发展改革委、物价局、财政厅(局)、农业厅(局、委、办)、粮食局、农业发展银行分行:

To implement of spirit of the third plenary session of the 17th Communist Party of China Central Committee, further increase support for the grain-growing farmers, maintain the activeness of farmers in grain growing and promote grain production and development, we have, upon approval by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, decided to raise the level of the minimum rice purchase price produced in 2009 by a relatively remarkable range when the new grain comes into the market this year. The minimum purchase price for 50 kilograms of early-indica rice (third rank, similar below), mid and late-indica rice and japonica rice shall be raised to RMB 90 RMB 92 and RMB 95 respectively by raising RMB 13 for each kind of rice than that of 2008.

    为贯彻落实党的十七届三中全会精神,进一步加大对种粮农民的支持力度,保护农民种粮积极性,促进粮食生产发展,经国务院批准,决定从今年新粮上市起较大幅度提高2009年生产的稻谷最低收购价水平。每50公斤早籼稻(三等,下同)、中晚籼稻、粳稻最低收购价格分别提高到90元、92元、95元,比2008年均提高13元。
