Attorney-Client Privilege，翻译为律师—当事人保密特权；当事人特免权。是英美法系一项重要的证据法规则。在加拿大被称为“律师和委托人特免权”(Solicitor and Client Privilege)；而在英国，则被表达为“法律职业特免权”(Legal Professional Privilege)。

Attorney-Client Privilege：the privilege that confidential communication between an attorney and a client in the course of the professional relationship cannot be disclosed without the consent of the client. In a trial, deposition, and written questions (interrogatories), the attorney is required and the client is entitled to refuse to answer any question or produce any document which was part of the attorney-client contact.

Attorney-Client Privilege不仅是律师对当事人的保密义务，更是当事人享有的一项免证特权。根据该规则，当事人（客户）与其律师间为获得或提供法律服务而进行的书面或口头的保密性交流，受特免权保护；除当事人放弃保持该交流的保密性外，当事人有权在诉讼程序中不披露且禁止其律师披露交流的内容。在审判、取证和书面问题(询问)中，律师是必需的，客户有权拒绝回答任何问题或出示任何文件，这是律师—当事人保密特权的一部分。
