Application (completedand signed):  Applications are available for download on the Law School Admission Council’s website. Students applying through CALETT, the Ful bright Commission of Iceland, or one of our partner universities should contact the Director of the LL.M. Program atemily.m.morris1@maine.edu.

CAS Report: Applicants who apply through LSAC must register with the Credential Assembly Service atwww.LSAC.org. Once we receive your application and accompanying materials, we will request that LSAC send the Credential Assembly Service report to the Law School, which includes; Letter(s) of recommendation and copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts. There is a registration fee for theCredential Assembly Service as well as a fee for each law school report you request. Please note it may take several weeks from the date of the request forus to receive your Credential Assembly Service Report.

TOEFL: Candidates for whom English is not a native language must also have attained an adequate score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International EnglishLanguage Testing System (IELTS), the China National Legal English Certification Test, or otherwise be able to demonstrate equivalent English language proficiency. Our classes are taught solely in English.

Certification of Finances: Applicants must show proof of financial capacity to cover the cost oftuition and living expenses. Tuition is$35,000.

Your undergraduate performance, as evidenced by success in a challenging course of study, good performance on the LSAT, your personal statement, and personal recommendations are the primary selection criteria in the admission process.
