合同中，surrender通常有两层含义：

（1）让与/转让 ，如surrender of shares 股份让与；

（2）交出。

例句一：

Unless the notice of redemption is revoked as aforesaid, such notice of redemption will bind the Company, upon surrender by the Bondholder of the relevant Bond at the specified office of the Paying Agent, to redeem the Bonds to which such notice relates at the price aforesaid together with interest accrued to the date of redemption.

除非赎回通知如上所述被撤销，该等赎回通知，在由债券持有人在付款代理方指定的办事处转让相关债券后，将对公司以上述价格连同赎回日应计的利息赎回与该等通知相关的债券具有约束力。

例句二：

2交出

Party B shall notify Party A in writing of its intention to terminate or extend the lease 3 months prior to the expiration of the Lease Term. Party A shall be entitled to take back the Premises upon the expiration of the Lease Term; in such case, Party B shall surrender the Premises on time.
