reimburse，法律文件中通常有3层含义：

1. 偿还；

2. 报销（差旅费等）；如：

Travelling expenses can be reimbursed on handing in the railway tickets.

旅费凭火车票报销。

3. 补偿，如：

The customer will be reimbursed for any loss or damage.

顾客受到的一切损失或损害将一律得到赔偿。

Expenses incurred by an Indemnified Person in a civil or criminal action, suit or proceeding may be paid by the Partnership in advance of the final disposition of such action, suit or proceeding pursuant to a written agreement which provides, interalia, that if such Indemnified Person is advanced such expenses and it is later determined that such Indemnified Person was not entitled to indemnification with respect to such action, suit or proceeding, such Indemnified Person shall reimburse the Partnership for such advances.

任何受偿人士在任何民事或刑事诉讼、起诉或程序中发生的费用可以由合伙企业在该等诉讼或程序最终解决之前预付，前提是双方应签订书面协议，其中规定如果该受偿人士获得预付该等费用但是之后被认定无权获得与该诉讼、起诉或程序有关的赔偿的，该受偿人士应将该等预付款偿还给合伙企业。

出差住宿费在规定的限额标准内凭发票单据报销，实际住宿费超过规定限额标准部分自理，不予报销。

The accommodation expenses with the amount less than the prescribed limits will be reimbursed with invoices and receipts. If the actual accommodation expenses are in excess of the prescribed limits, the part exceeding the prescribed limits shall not be reimbursed.
