前言

在上一期的推送中，我们一起辨析了act这一词汇的“法律”这一词义；除了“法律”，act还有“行为”的含义。我们每天都会做很多事情：饮食、睡眠、工作等等。这些事都可以被称为行为，即受思想支配而表现出来的外表活动。日常生活中，人们会做出很多种行为 。而与“行为”相关的词汇还有哪些呢，它们之间又有什么异同呢，我们今天就一起来辨析一下。

Act / Action / Deed / Performance

行为

act

多指按自己的意愿已经完成的行为。

(Something done or performed, 

especially, voluntarily.)

例如：

持续行为(continuing act)

双边行为(bilateral act)

action

除了指已完成的行为以外，

还指正在进行的行为或者完成行为的程序。

(The process of doing something;

 conduct or behavior.)

例如：

每日行动

(action de die in diem)

模拟行动宣言

(action en declaration de simulation)

deed

常指需要极大勇气、情操、智慧、

力量或技能所取得的成就行为。

(Something that is done or carried out; 

an act or action)

例如：

Their deed will lie on in song.

His heroic deeds were celebrated 

in every corner of India.

The perpetrators of this evil deed 

must be brought to justice.

performance

所指的行为常与行为人作为时的方式相关。

(The act or process of performing a task, 

an action.)

例如：

履约保函

(performance bond)

She has shown enthusiasm

 in the performance of her duties.

人的行为有很多种，

攻击别人就是其中一种。

Aggression / Assault

 Attack / Offensive

攻击

aggression

多指无故违反联合国宪章规定的战争行为，

如侵略别国的行为。

(The act of attacking a country, especially, 

in the absence of direct provocation.)

例如：

The dictator resorted an armed aggression.

assault

指猛烈攻击，尤其指近距离的身体接触和暴力，

常针对某个人或少数人，且常带有嫉妒、

怨恨等个人情感。

(The act of putting another person 

in reasonable fear.)

例如：

He pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.

attack

（用武力）进攻；攻击；袭击

(Act against aggressively in 

an attempt to injure or kill.)

例如：

A doctor was attacked by two youths.

offensive

有时与attack互换使用，指进攻、袭击；

有时则指大规模军事进攻行动。

(Making attack; aggressive.)

例如：

攻防同盟

(offensive and defensive league)

进攻锁定

(offensive lockout)
