Exhibit
exhibit 所指的附件是对合同、案件摘要或其他提交法庭的内容的补充,常用语,相当于英国的appendices。具体有两种含义:
1. 展示证据,如向法院、仲裁员等提交的作为证据的文件或物品;向证人出示的、证人在作证过程中提到的文件或物品。
2. 在提出申请或进行辩护时提出的附于起诉状、答辩状等的证明文件。
英文释义:
1.A document, record, or other tangible object formally introduced as evidence in court.
2.A document attached to and made part of a pleading, motion, contract, or other instrument.

Schedule
附件;清单;明细表。指附于法律、法规、契约、税单等文件之后的一个附页,用于详细补充主要文件的内容。schedule 通常表示本来可以在主合同内,但是却被移动到了末尾,原因通常是这些schedule长度较长,移动到末尾可以让主合同更清晰和简洁。因此,schedules 通常被认为是主合同的一部分,有时候需要双方单独签署。

A written list or inventory; especially a statement that is attached to a document and that gives a detailed showing of the matters referred to in the document.

Annex
(plural annexes)
annex 常用于表示条约/协定的补充资料。具体含义有:
1. 附加物;附件;附录 2.附属建筑物。
作动词时,有“附加、附带、添加”之义,将一个较小的或具有从属性的实物附属于另一个较大的或更具有重要性的事物上。主要用于国际性条约和协定中。
英文释义:
Something that is attached, such as document to a report or an addition to a building.

Appendix
(plural appendices)
1.附录;附件;补遗。指附在文件末尾后的补充性文件。
2.在英国枢密院和上议院审判上诉案件的诉讼程序中,附件指包含了下级法院所使用的有决定性影响的文件或其他证据并予以提交的卷宗。
英文释义:
1.A supplementary document attached to the end of a writing <the brief includes an appendix of exhibits>.
2.English law. A volume that contains material documents and other evidence presented in a lower court. The volume is used by the House of Lords or Privy Council when functioning as an appellate tribunal.

Attachment
附加;附属。attachment 也可以表示附加到主文件的事物或文件。但是,这个词现在更常用于表示电子邮件的附加文件,这种附加文件可以独立于邮件本身,由收件人打开。此外,该词在其他情况下还有“扣押(令)、拘禁(令)、担保权益的发生”的含义。

1.The seizing of a person’s property to secure a judgment or to be sold in satisfaction of a judgment.
2.The arrest of a person who either is in contempt of court or is to be held as security for the payment of a judgment.
