未决赔款准备金，英文表达为Outstanding Loss Reserve或Reserve for Outstanding Losses，当会计年度结束时，被保险人已提出索赔，但在索赔人与保险人之间，尚未对这些案件是否属于保险责任以及保险赔付额度等事项达成协议，称为未决赔案。为未决赔案提存的责任准备金即为未决赔款责任准备金。
