日前，中央文明办在今年全国文明城市测评指标中，已明确要求不将占道经营（roadside booths）、马路市场（street markets）、流动商贩（mobile vendors）列为文明城市测评考核内容，推动文明城市创建在恢复经济社会秩序、满足群众生活需要的过程中发挥更加积极的作用。

长春市城市管理委员会下发文件，决定2020年12月30日以前在城管领域实施八项服务措施，鼓励发展夜市经济、开办便民市场，以刺激商业消费，助力经济发展。

Night markets and food stalls can be opened in designated areas in parks, public squares and empty spaces as long as they don't interrupt traffic and local life. They also have to pass environmental protection assessments, the office said.

该委员会表示，允许利用有条件的公园、广场、空场，在不扰民、不影响交通、不影响市民休闲、不污染环境的前提下，开办夜市、排档。允许开办临时占道市场，免收占道费，但必须有序开展经营活动。

People are also being allowed to set up temporary roadside businesses. There will be no charge for running a business in a designated roadside area, but they must operate in an orderly manner, the office said.

今年3月15日，成都市城管委出台《成都市城市管理五允许一坚持统筹疫情防控助力经济发展措施》。

Chengdu has designated more than 2,234 roadside business areas, 82 promotion areas on streets near large shopping malls and 17,891 vending spots, creating more than 100,000 jobs, the city government said.

成都市政府表示，全市设置临时占道摊点、摊区2234个，允许临时越门经营点位17891个，大型商场占道促销点82个，增加就业岗位10万个以上。

总理也亲自为摆摊经济站台！

“The street-stall and small-store economy is an important source of employment and human culinary culture — it’s part of China's livelihood just as much as larger, high-end businesses,” Li told small business owners during a Monday inspection of the eastern city of Yantai, according to state media. “The country will only get better once markets, enterprises and individual traders get back on their feet and develop. 当然其他专家学者也对此表示支持。

Zhu Min, an economist and former deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund, suggested that street vending is both an emergency solution to the economic woes brought on by the coronavirus pandemic as well as an economic norm.

国际货币基金组织(imf)前副总裁、经济学家朱民表示，街头贩卖既是应对冠状病毒大流行带来的经济困境的一种应急方案，也会是一种经济常态。

“Street vending has always been a low-threshold way for the disadvantaged and people with a low and middle income to make a living,” Dong Dengxin, professor at the Institute of Finance, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, told the local press. “Opening-up street markets would not only increase employment but also stimulate consumption among grassroots communities whose livelihoods have been greatly influenced during the outbreak.”

武汉科技大学金融学院教授董登新在接受当地媒体采访时表示:“街头售货一直是弱势群体和中低收入人群谋生的一种低门槛方式。”“开放街头市场不仅能增加就业，还能刺激基层群体的消费。他们的生计在疫情期间受到了很大影响。”

摊位的英文

关于摊位，在英文中有三个单词对应：stand、stall、booth，三者有一些不同。

stand：货摊，展位，一般指的是独立的摊位。这种摊位较多出现在街边和市场。

stall：摊位， 货摊、摊位，一般指的是集市中集中摆放的摊位。这种摊位大多出现在集市上，比如一条夜市长街上密密麻麻的各种小摊。stand相对来说算是比较零散的摊位。

booth：临时货摊，半开放的，有棚子的摊位。（同传箱也叫 booth，翻译天然和摆摊结合在一起了吗这是？哈哈哈，再也困不住想出去摆摊的心了。）

摊主的英文

摊主，也就是我们经常说的小贩，在英文中有两种说法：vendor、peddler，这两个单词的意思也是有细微区别的。

vendor：英文解释为“a person who sells things, for example food or newspapers, usually outside on the street”，小商贩，销售商。指的是比较正式场合的，有固定摊位的商贩。

街边的小商贩：street vendor

peddler：小贩，指的是沿街叫卖的、流动性的小贩，有一定的贬义色彩。

摆地摊的英文

摆地摊，也就是在街边卖东西。在英语中用street vending来表示。

He had his street vending licence taken away because he was caught selling illegal drugs.

因为摆摊卖非法药品被抓，他的街头行业执照被收缴。
