POL，全称是Port of Loading，意思是“装运港；装船的港口”，一般为始发地国家的沿海港口。装运包括始发港的装运和中转港的装运。如货物在天津港装船，POL即为“Tianjin”。

POD，全称为Place of Delivery，意思是“最终交货的港口或地点”。如果最终交货地是一个港口，那么可以说Port of Delivery（交货港），如果最终交货地不是港口而是内陆点，那则可为Place of Delivery（交货地）。
