Supplier一般是指直接供应商,指带有研发性质的供应商;
Vendor是作为一个商品供应商出现的,也就是说,他可以作为一个中间人,本身不生产任何商品,有时候可以翻译为“厂商”。
此外,Vendor一词在法律英语中,表示: a person who is selling a house, etc.即(房屋等的)卖主;在日常生活中,也有“小贩、摊贩”的意思。
