Sign，execute和back三个词都有“签署”之意，但是三者有细微的差别，以下进行具体介绍。

1，sign，作“签署”时讲，使用范围较广，指在文件、合同、签到簿等上签名，表示同意、批准或出席；或在作品上署名，表示是某人所作；或签字转让（权利或财产）；或签约受雇（或入伍）等。如：to sign a cheque 在支票上签字，The treaty was signed on 24 March. 条约是3月24日签订的。

3，back，“背书、签署、签字以同意偿付”，有时可与“endorse”替换。指签字以表示同意或批。在法律英语中，back是一种背书签字，指不同县的县法官会在令状背后签名进行背书，如: backing a warrant签署令状。
