Reverse、Vacate和Overrule有使判决等作废或失去效力的含义

Reverse：to change a previous decision, law, etc. to the opposite one 撤销，废除（决定、法律等）。多指上诉法院作相反判决，撤销原判。

Vacate：废止。其可指上诉法院废止下级法院的判决。

Overrule：to change a decision or reject an idea from a position of greater power （以权力）否定，拒绝，更改决定。可用于常用于法院推翻先例，使其不再具有拘束力。
