Vocation和Avocation都有“职业”的含义。

Vocation：a type of work or way of life that you believe is especially suitable for you 工作，职业，生活方式。常指赖以为生的正业、主业（principal works）。

Avocation：a hobby or other activity that you do for interest and enjoyment 业余爱好。强调指副业（subsidiary business）。
