Registrar在正式文件中一般有以下两层含义：

1.注册/登记人员/官、登记处

Registrar在结婚证、出生证、公司注册证书等公证文书中，一般表示“注册/登记人员”，或在部分文件中，根据上下文语境，也可将其等同于registry，译为“登记处”。

如，在常见的开曼群岛公司注册证书中，registrar即被译为“注册官”：

2.教务长

在成绩单中，将registrar理解为注册/登记人员明显不妥。因此，参考Academic Registry的中文意思，即教务处，一般可将成绩单中的registrar翻译为“教务长”。如：
