“队伍”是借来词语，原意是指军队队型，行列（三人一队，五人成伍）。现代汉语中常用“队伍”引申出的含义“指某个有团体协作的全部人员”。

作为原意时，常见的译法有ranks和contingent，少部分译为army、force、corps；作为引申义时，常见的译法有workforce、team、group、body、pool等不含军事意义的词，而军事含义较弱的ranks和contingent也保留了下来，另外作为引申义时，省略不译，也是常见的的处理方式。

1. contingent
