“规范化”“合理化”“一体化”......等“...化”是公文中常见的表达，常见的译法是-ization，但是也有很多情况下，不能这样处理。除了直译为名词-ization外，还有两种翻译处理策略。

1. 直译为名词

我国数字出版产业竞争优势的提升必须解决产业链的规范化和利益合理化、资本的有效运作、资本的有效运作、数字内容资源与技术资源的科学分配等问题。——《我国数字出版产业发展战略研究》，南京大学博士学位论文，2013

The ascension of digital publishing industry competitive advantage must address the standardization and rationalization of industry chain, efficient operation of the interest, allocation of digital content resources and technology resources.

要继续加大“三农”投入，加强农村基础设施建设和基本公共服务体系建设，推动城乡发展一体化。

We should continue to increase spending on agriculture, rural areas and farmers; improve infrastructure and basic public services in rural areas; and promote integration of urban and rural development.

世界多极化、经济全球化、文化多样化、社会信息化

2. 转译为动词

20世纪70年代，中日在实现邦交正常化和缔结《中日和平友好条约》时，两国老一辈领导人着眼两国关系大局，就将“钓鱼岛问题放一放，留待以后解决”达成谅解和共识。——《钓鱼岛是中国的固有领土》

As China and Japan were normalizing relations and concluding the SinoJapanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship in the 1970s, the then leaders of the two countries, acting in the larger interest of ChinaJapan relations, reached important understanding and consensus on “leaving the issue of Diaoyu Dao to be resolved later.” —Quoted from Diaoyu Dao, an Inherent Territory of China

3. 转译为形容词

加快培育农村新型金融机构。继续大力发展金融市场，鼓励金融创新。推进利率市场化改革。

We will accelerate the cultivation of new rural financial institutions. We will continue to energetically develop financial markets and encourage financial innovation. We will push forward the market-based reform of interest rates.

深化投融资体制改革，继续以市场化方式筹集专项建设基金，推动地方融资平台转型改制进行市场化融资，探索基础设施等资产证券化，扩大债券融资规模。

Funds for specific projects will continue to be raised through market-based mechanisms. Local financing platforms will be required to transform themselves and shift toward market-based financing, the securitization of tangible assets such as infrastructure will be explored, and debt financing will be increased.
