Vacant possession，法律上指的是交易交吉的地产，在楼宇买卖交易中，除非连租约出售的物业，否则合约内必订明物业必须交吉予买方，如果到交易日期，发觉楼宇仍有人居住，卖方便因没有交吉地产而作毁约论。

“交吉”和“不交吉”是粤语地区房屋交易中常见的两个词，“交吉”和“不交吉”实际上应该是“交空”和“不交空”，字面的意思指的是交易的房屋是否已无人居住、是否已经腾空，房屋是否正在被第三者使用。
