Color of Title：lending the appearance of title, when in reality there is no title at all; an instrument which appears to pass title,and which one relies on as passing title but which fails to do so;an instrument which,on its face,professes to pass title,but which fails to do so either because title is lacking in the person conveying or because the conveyance itself is defective.
