Right of visit，登临权，又称临检权，指各国军舰或经授权的政府船舶在公海上遇到外国船舶（军舰等享有豁免权的除外）有从事公约所列违反国际法的行为嫌疑时，可以靠近和登上该船进行检查的权利。
