妨害传染病防治罪，英文表达为Crime of Impairing the Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases，是指违反传染病防治法规定，造成甲类传染病传播或者有传播严重危险的行为。

甲类传染病，英文表达为Category A infectious disease，《中华人民共和国传染病防治法》规定管理的传染病分甲类、乙类、丙类三类，共39种。

甲类传染病是指：鼠疫、霍乱。城市2小时内，农村2小时内电话报告防疫站。

（三）准许或者纵容传染病病人、病原携带者和疑似传染病病人从事国务院卫生行政部门规定禁止从事的易使该传染病扩散的工作的；

(3) approving or conniving at the employment of patients of infectious diseases, pathogen carriers or suspected patients of infectious diseases at jobs, which they are prohibited from taking by the health administration department under the State Council because of the likelihood of causing the spread of infectious diseases;

（四）拒绝执行卫生防疫机构依照传染病防治法提出的预防、控制措施的。

(4) refusal to execute the preventive and control measures proposed by the health and anti-epidemic agencies according to the Law on Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases.

单位犯前款罪的，对单位判处罚金，并对其直接负责的主管人员和其他直接责任人员，依照前款的规定处罚。

Where a unit commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph, it shall be fined, and the persons who are directly in charge and the other persons who are directly responsible for the offence shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
