适销性通常即适销性保证（英文即：warranty of merchantability ）。适销性保证是指卖方默认保证所销售产品的质量，也即其产品是可以正常使用的。

如果您退回了无法使用的产品，就是运用了默认的适销性保证。

适销性是默认的保证，意味着它存在而无需书面或口头表达。商业销售商不必告诉您该产品可以保证正常使用，因为法律本身就规定了该保证。适销性保证适销性的默示保证保证产品将按预期工作。如果您的烤箱不能保持稳定的温度，不能依靠它正常工作，就是违反了对适销性的默示保证。

再比如：售出的汽车必须具有足够好的质量，必须具有足以满足其通常运输目的的质量。如果购买者可以证明汽车不符合行业标准，则购买者就证明了该产品违背了隐含的适销性。

适销性鼓励商人在将产品投放市场之前确保其质量。毕竟，卖方可以更好地了解汽车的状态是否适合驾驶，搅拌机太慢而无法搅拌食物，种子太旧而无法发芽新作物。

merchantability，释义为：the state of being fit for market; ready to be bought or sold，刚好贴合中文“适销性”的含义，建议将“适销性” 翻译为“merchantability ”即可。
