“除非...另有规定”是合同中常见的表达，常见的译法可以分为三种：

(1) unless the context otherwise requires/provides/stipulates/specifies

In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires , “state”means a territory or group of territories having its/their own law of nationality.

在本条例中，除非上下文中另有规定，“国家”指拥有自身国籍法的一领域或一组领域。

In Guyana, criminal law is generally limited to conduct or acts occurring within its territorial jurisdiction, unless the contrary is expressly provided for (for previous comments of Guyana, see A/64/183, para. 14).

(2) save/except as otherwise provided

Except as otherwise provided herein, all notices or demands sent by registered airmail shall be deemed received 8 days after they have been sent and notices or demands sent by telex shall be deemed received at the time of the dispatch thereof.

The Basic Law stipulates, inter alia, the following: There shall be no violation of the life, body or dignity of any person as such; There shall be no violation of the property of a person; All persons are entitled to protection of their life, body and dignity; There shall be no deprivation or restriction of the liberty of a person by imprisonment, arrest, extradition or otherwise (unless as provided by law); There shall be no violation of rights under this Basic Law except by a law befitting the values of the State of Israel, enacted for a proper purpose, and to an extent no greater than is required.
