因为不存在完全对等的概念，所以,读翻译过来的文章,一个概念只能放在来源因的语境下来理解，这是读者的责任。同时，如果同一说法在两个语境下意思有重大不同（如judiciary）,则需要注释说明，这是译者的责任。译者尽量采用便于读者理解和不会导致读者误解的说法。

翻译为judicial officer的另一个好处是，以概念译概念,而不是以解释来翻译概念。解释性翻译是不得已而为之。

另外，关于“司法工作人员”的说法。
